Altenew Parchment Flowers

Hi Bloggers

Here is todays card
I have combined the Altenew Stamp Beautiful Day with parchment.

I stamped the outline image and heat embossed it with CE detailed white embossing powder. I then embossed the flowers and coloured them with a combination of peach/orange inks. Once dry I fussy cut each flower.
The back ground is from two of SW embossing folders which is mounted on to a piece of white card that I put Graceful Peach gilding wax on from Phil Martin.

The stamped sentiment is from the Altenew set.
I finished it off with a black ribbon bow from my stash.

  11. Forgive me, but I am confused. You said you stamped the outline image then heat embossed it - I am assuming you meant the flowers? I can understand that, but then you said you embossed the flowers and then colored them with ink. What does this mean? This is really lovely and I would love to CASE!

  12. Hi Sarah
    Sorry your confused.
I said the outline stamp as this tamp set has multi stamps to create the flower. But I only wanted to use the outline stamp. As I stamped on to parchment I then used my ball tool to emboss the vellum to turn the parchment white, which creates the shading on the flowers. I hope this helps xx

  14. Stunning card but I am confused forgive me but you said you stamped then heat embossed the flower then you embossed with your roller ball to make them pop am I correct in assuming that? Also I don't know what your abbreviations mean regarding the products used such as SW embossing folders and CE embossing powder. Also where did you put the peach gilding wax ? Thanks so much.

    1. Thanks for you comment Susan and sorry for the late reply. SW means Sue Wilson and CE is Creative Expressions. I used an embossing (ball) tool to create the white work on the flowers. The gilding wax I used just around the edge of the card to frame the focal element. I hope that helps xx
