Three Owls

Morning All

WOW what a great response  to my blog.
A BIG thank you to everyone that stopped by to leave a comment and to those who passed through to view my cards, it is really appreciated, I am truly overwhelmed by your kind words and support.

Todays card is one that  I made for  work colleague and friend who was 50 earlier this year.

She adores Owls and the colour blue.
I used Sue Wilson's 'scribble' technique in the background using various shades of blue cosmic shimmer glue.

I also used Sue Wilson's Phoenix Gemini die to frame the top and bottom of the card.

Thank you to those who following my blog Sandy, Foxg, wlt27,  and Ang, and those who have added me  on Google+.

Tina thank you for your tip on taking photographs of the cards I will give it a whirl. Yes you are right, on the white Merry Christmas card the sentiment is made from ribbon.
The little man on my profile picture us our wonderful Pomeranian, Basil. He is a rescue dog and absolutely adorable.

I hope you all have a chance to enjoy the sunshine today xxx

Peeking Snowflake

Good Morning everyone

Another Christmas card or two I'm afraid - I hope you don't mind too much

They are both very similar so I have decided to post them both lol....

This time I have used Sue Wilson Peeking Snowflake die.

I have teamed it up with the caught in crystal technique which I love doing. I added Creative Expressions pearl moon mica powder along with the alcohol inks.

The first one is made using the Aqua foundations card.

It may be hard to see the mica powder showing through but in real life it picks up the light and looks lovely.

And this card is using the Wisteria cardstock
Let me know if you have a favourite...

Merry Christmas

Hi bloggers

Welcome to my second post.

I have selected a Christmas card for today.
Have any one you started to make your Christmas cards yet??

A mainly white card with silver embossing  and a hint of glitter. I hope the camera has managed to pick this up. If any one has any tips for successful photographing let me know... lol xx

I have used dies from Spellbinders and Tattered Lace, while the poinsettias are from Heartfelt Creations

I hope you are all having a great week, I am getting quite a bit of crafting done as I am off this week (yeah). Then off to Ally Pally at the weekend to stock up on a few essentials !!!
