Using Altenew stamps... again

Hi all

Still playing the the Tim Holtz platform with my stamps and  I must say I am loving it so far.

Another card using my Altenew stamps. I am enjoying exploring all the different colour combination and this red one looks beautiful in real life.  I am keeping a list of the colours I have used once I decide I like a colour combo, as I know I will forget what I have used  lol.
On the embossed background I  added a some Frosted glitterbitz to the center of the embossed flowers but it was quite hard to catch this in the photographs.
I went to a craft show at Sandown Park on Saturday.. well what a busy show that was. Create & Craft were filming there and there were a lot more exhibitors there this time round. The last time I attended was about 2 years ago it was ok but quite limited. I was very good and didn't spend too much. I added to my TH oxide collection and bought a SW die and some stamps from Honey Doo.
I hope you all have a great week, thank you for stopping by.

To Someone Extra Special

Hi all
I hope you all have had a good week. What a day yesterday with the weather I don't think it stopped raining all day.. plus we had snow.
For Christmas I was lucky enough to receive Tim Holtz stamping platform, and I have been having a play with it using my Altenew layering stamps.
This is the first card I created using the beautiful day stamp set.

A very simple and clean card using a variety of purple inks. I added some glossy accents as pearl drops and the sentiment is from Phill Martins chalkboard collection.

Well I am another year older today... although I still feel 21 lol...
Yesterday I celebrated with the family and we all went out for a lovely lunch. I met my friend for lunch today it was great to see her and catch up.

Festive Fairground

Hi all
Back to my cardio- stamps again, a new firm favourite I don't think I will ever get tired of using these.
I used an old Spellbinders die to created the frame for my festive scene.
I used lots of glitter on this card too .
Not long now and December will soon be upon us I hope you are all on track with your Christmas cards. I still have a few more to do, but my inspiration left me this weekend so I took the dogs for a very long walk instead..

Thanks for your visit and any comments are greatly appreciated.

Walking the dog

Hi All

What a chilly start to the morning we had a really hard frost.
This is another card I created with my card-io stamps.

I created the hills from a torn scrap of card I used the versa colour ink in yellow and a touch of red ink to create the sunrise and black to create more hills. I then placed the deer and person walking the dog. I used my quickie glue pen to scribble on the hills and sprinkled glitter across the image.
I really love creating the different scenes as no two will be the same. I created a frame from black card using SW noble dies.

thanks for popping by I really do appreciate all your comments. Feel free to use the Pinterest button if you would like to save it.

Festive Circle

Hi all
Another card made with Lime tree crafts white topaz card.  This time I masked off the center of the card with a die cut circle. Then randomly stamped the festive fir-cones stamps from Card-io around the edge in a variety of colours. Then I removed the circle and stamped the sentiment from Phil Martin scribbled Christmas verses.
I wasn't quite sure what to mount the card on to - so as I looked around my craft room I found some glitter tape/ribbon. I glued this around the sides of my card blank and then popped the topaz card over this. I really like this glitter tape it adds a bit of bling without going over the top.
I hope you all have a wonderful week.

Festive Banner

Hi all
Another Christmas card for today

Here I have used my new card-io Majestix stamps (Festive Fir-Cones)I created a strip by masking off part of the white topaz card and then stamping randomly along the strip in various colours. I then removed the masking tape and popped the Happy Christmas in the gap which was die cut in vintage Gold card.
A great card for batch making too
Well I have passed my three month probation at my new job - yeah!!
The job is going well (very different from my old one) and the people are nice.

Thank you for stopping by and any comments you wish to leave are greatly appreciated.
Have a great week everyone.

Purple Sky

Hi Bloggers
Here it today's offering

I know it has been a while since my last blog... the time has just whizzed by.

I had  a great time at Ally Pally and bought quite a few items. I invested in some Card-io stamps and have been having a play with them so I will be showing quite a few Christmas cards over the next few weeks.

I used Versa color ink to create the sky. I then stamped the trees and deer using versafine black ink. Once the ink was dry I used my quickie glue pen to scribble glue across the image and sprinkled Glamour Dust over it.
I used SW dies to cut the image out and mounted it on to black card to make it pop. I embossed a piece of white card with CE falling snow embossing folder.

Thank you to those who have pressed the button to follow my blog it is greatly appreciated.

Have a great week
