Purple Glitter Flowers

Hi all

I started this card with a white piece of card and using SP labels 46 die I cut an aperture in the centre of the card. Then I randomly stamped a flower  with TH Shaded Lilac and Milled Lavender on to this to create my patterned paper and inked round the edges with Milled Lavender.
For the background of the aperture image I swiped the same ink pads over a piece of white card and spritzed it with water.
Once dry I stamped the flower image from Glitz Craft stamp and stencil kit. I lined the stencil up over the stamped image and spread purple glitter paste through the stencil.
Once this was dry I mounted it behind my aperture and added as black frame round the aperture to make the image pop.
To complete the card I added pearls to each corner.

Well I am now officially unemployed!!
It was so sad saying goodbye to everyone on Friday as we have all known each other for many years.
We are all meeting up again as the end of this month as that it when the remainder of the people leave. It doesn't seem real yet!  but I can now concentrate on the next chapter in my life and look for new employment opportunities.
I hope you can enjoy the sunshine today lets hope it lasts.

Water Colour Tree

Hi bloggers

For this card I added TH peeled paint and tumbled glass to my acrylic block then spritzed the block with water. I then 'stamped' this ink on to my card.
Once dry I used my tree stamp from Glitz craft  and then I used the  stencil from the set and added touches of brown on the leaves and trunk of the tree.  I used SW double pierced squares to cut it out. Then the mats and layers where in brown and white card which I coloured with Tumbled Glass ink.

Ang, Thanks for asking about Rufus my cat, he is still on bed rest poor love, but he has improved dramatically and put on weight lol.
Here is a pic of him..
My MIL is still quite poorly and remains in hospital, they think her infection may be in the veins leading to her heart, and she is still having daily tests.

Have a great week everyone - hopefully the good weather will stay around for a while.

Christmas Greetings

Morning All
I was really pleased with the way this card turned out (even my husband likes it!!)
I started by spreading silver glitter paste from Glitzcraft  through a snowflake mask on to acetate.
I left it overnight to dry and then mounted it on to some Foundation Sky Blue card from CE. I stamped Phil Martins Scribble Snowflake around the corners ( its in his verses set) and embossed with Silver Shine powder. I used SW double pierced square dies to frame it.
On the opposite corners I cut SW bold Snowflake in Coconut white and Sky blue card

The sentiment is from TL which I cut twice and glued one on top of the other then heat embossed with clear ink to give it a lovely shine.

Green butterfly

Hi all
A quick post today as I am feeling under the weather, I hope it doesn't turn into anything worse.

I had a great day at Ally Pally yesterday meeting the creative expressions team they are great people and the samples were wonderful.  I also bought the Groovi starter kit  from Clarity - I just hope I will be able to do it!!!

On to today's card green for my Mum as it was her favourite colour, who sadly passed away 13 years ago.
For the background I've inked through the floral mask with a distress ink  then embossed with the CE star swirls classic adorned noble die in green and backed it with white, which I glittered with ice snow.
The happy birthday was from a mask and I used Glitzcraft silver embossing paste through it and cut it out with a Justrite die and inked through with distress ink.
For the finishing touches I used a Spellbinders butterfly which I gilded too and some CE ribbon finished off with my own hand made dazzler.

Have a great week and thanks for visiting.

A Gold Christmas

Hello all

A quick post today as its been a hectic week.

A gold and cream card for today offering.
I put some Sand glitter paste from Glitz Craft through the snowflake mask onto soft shimmering gold card.
I created a frame from Sue Wilson's noble collection.
I popped the cream poinsettia ribbon flower in the corner and topped this with a homemade 'dazzler'.
I did this by using my glue gun and creating a dot ( you can make this any size you want) and then while it was still hot I poured some mica flakes - Tarnished bronze over the top.
It only take a minute or so  to cool down. I usually make a few of these you can use glitter as an alternative.

Thanks for popping by....
