Happy Easter

Hi All

I hope you all had a good weekend.

I had a lovely day at the Farnborough craft show on Friday and bought more supplies. Pic at the end of this blog.

For today's card I decided to go with an Easter theme.

I stamped the Regal Blossom Outer frame  from Creative Expressions and  coloured the flowers in with my colouring pencils
I stamped my sentiment and cut it out with the inner die from the Heraldic Square from Sue Wilson.
I cut the largest die from Spellbinders Floral Assortment out of the green card and used the aperture to mount my focal element on. I used a self adhesive sheet on the back and sprinkled it with glitter from my stash, so it just peaks out from behind the stamp.
The butterfly I made from a Spellbinders die which a snipped into to make look like a butterfly. I added the Graceful Peach gilding  wax to it from Phil Martin.
I then finished the card with a Glue pearl dot in each corner and on the butterfly.
More supplies added to my ever growing crafty stash.

Best Wishes

Hi all

I hope you all had a great weekend.
I am going to the Make It show in Farnborough on Friday, so I'm looking forward to picking up some crafty goodies and hopefully a bargain or two.

Here is todays offering

I started with the PVA glue in silver, pink and purple and used the scribble technique on a piece of coconut white card from Creative Expressions. I created  a frame from some purple card from my stash. I used the Tattered Lace Kew border to die to go around the frame and mounted this on to a piece of pearlised baby pink card
The flower I created from Spellbinders Cinch and Go dies which I inked with Tattered Rose distress ink. For the foliage I used a die from my stash (not sure what it is called) I inked through the die with Shaded Lilac Distress ink.  I then  I snipped into the die cut  it as its quite large to create a variety of smaller leaves.
The sentiment was cut out with another Tattered Lace die from the Eltham range and backed with the pink pearl card.
I finished it off with pearls in each corner and created another mat  made using Tim Holtz piercing ruler.
Thanks for popping by.

Shop till you Drop

Hi fellow crafters

Here is the card I made for my youngest daughters birthday in December.

Like most girls both of mine love shopping..

I've used a Creative Expressions stamp and coloured it with Promarkers and cut it out with one of  the Spellbinders Majestic Labels 25 diee.
For the background I used a mask and inked through it with my Versamark ink pad and then heat embossed it with clear embossing powder.
I finished the card by adding the pearl PVA dots round the border, along with the bow.

Mothers Day

Hi all

Sorry I have not posted for a while life has been hectic...

I have being making some Mother's day cards as it will soon be here.

I have use one of my favourite colours peach.

For the background I inked through a mask on white card with peach ink and mounted it on the peach card.
I used the dies from Paper Artist called 'love and 5 hearts', a wonderful set of dies that I cannot seem to put down at the minute.
I stamped my sentiment with Versamark ink  and used Phil Martins Graceful peach lustre embossing powder.
I coloured some white satin ribbon with the peach ink so it created a tone on tone with the rest of the card.I finished it off by adding a dazzler that I made to the bow.

I hope you like it.
