Birthday using Altenew Stamps

Morning all
I made this card at the request of my friend for her Auntie.

I used the wonderful Altenew Beautiful Day stamp, using a variety of yellow inks, with the outline stamped in watering can archival.
I cut the image out by hand and shaped it to add dimension.
The sentiment is computer generated and I added some CS Glacier Ice round the edges of the mats and layers.

I had an interview for a job on Wednesday what an experience !! It included a test too!! Its all changed since my last one nearly 16 years ago. I didn't get it as someone else just had an advanced skill on the excel which I don't but I passed everything else so that was a positive.
I hope everyone has a great weekend.
Were off to the Isle of Wight on Monday for a complete rest so no blogging for me.
 thanks for stopping by.

I'm Dreaming of a White Christmas

Good morning crafters

Just a quick post today
This card I made from Hobby Art stamp set - Poles apart.
A lovely lazy polar Bear

The sentiment was stamped in versamark and heat embossed in clear embossing powder. I then created the mountain background again all in the same stamp set. I then masked this off and used colour cloud ink to blend over to create the sky. I laid the bear on CS Glacier Ice for snow.
A bit late with my post, unfortunately my father in law sadly passed away on Monday.
Take care everyone xx

Winters Deer

Hi Everyone
How are you all.
The weather has turned really chilly and blustery today but it looked beautiful outside with the sun shining.

I just love the way this card turned out. A very CAS card.
The image is from Polkadoodle (the deer family) which I coloured in with my promarkers.
I added CS Glacier Ice at the bottom of the Deer's feet to give a winters feel to the card.
I framed the image with SW double pierced dies.
The card stock used is Milk and Taupe from CE teamed with brown from Limetree Crafts.
A great card that could be used for a winter birthday or a Christmas card.
Many thanks for taking the time to stop by.

Celebrate the Season

Hi Bloggers
A Christmas card in July.

I had a mad moment and thought I would make a Christmas card or two over the weekend, as there has been so many shows and die releases over the last week or so.
Here is one of them using foundations sky blue and coconut white card.

For the background I stamped some snowflake stamps from my stash with light blue ink and embossed with holographic WOW embossing powder. This was then embossed with CE Frosty Swirls folder.
I used Sue Wilson festive collection dies from last year. This is the Lattice Snowflake.
I used double sided adhesive  behind the die and sprinkled CS glacier Ice over it to give it an icy feel. ( I hope you can see the sparkle in the pics)
I added CE pastel blue pva around the frame of the die and added a bow with a snowflake and finished off with  a pearl.
