Wedding Day

Morning Bloggers.

Today's card is one I made for a friend for her daughters wedding.

I used the lovely Couture Creations Tied Together embossing folder for the background on this shaped card.

All the dies I used on this card are from Spellbinders.
The flowers are from the Daisy Flowers inked through with Spun Sugar distress ink.
The leaves were made from the Floral Flourishes and the Botanical Swirls and Accents and I popped some CS Aurora sparkles glue on the leaves and in the centre of the flowers for just a hint of sparkle.
The sentiment was  cut with the Lacey Circle die and mounted on to pink card cut with the Classic Scalloped Circle die.
I added a few flat back pearls from my craft stash to complete the card.
Thank you for stopping by.

A day shopping

Hi Bloggers

I hope you are all enjoying your weekend.
My daughter and her boyfriend arrived back from Dubai on Thursday they had a great time.

This is the card I did for her birthday as she does like a little bit of retail therapy..(lol) and her favourite colour is green.

I used Sue Wilson Ornate Pierced Squares from her noble collection.
The stamps are from Creative Expression set A Day Shopping.
I used promarkers to colour in the  main image and used Bundles Sage distress ink to ink around the image.
I embossed a white card with the second die from the set (I count from the outside die) and added pearls to each corner.
If you have time to leave a comment it would be much appreciated.

I am entering this card in the below anything goes challenges

Canadian Background

Morning Bloggers

I hope you are all keeping well.
It will be my eldest daughters birthday on Thursday, although she will be swimming with Dolphins in Dubai  - lucky girl.
I need to make her birthday card, which I hope to do today.
For todays' card I decided  to have a play with Sue Wilson's Canadian background die which I  purchased last month but have not had a chance to use.
This  card was the result.  I hope you like it.

I used the Foundation coconut white card with some  from Limetree Crafts called Violet Rose which I  just adore.
I added CS PVA glue dots in the pearl and vintage plum as shown. On the edge of the card I used a CS Frosty Heather Colour Cloud Blending ink then added CS glue and dipped each edge into CS Diamond Sprinkles.
I made my own banner and used the sentiment from Britannia dies which I then embossed twice in CS clear detail powder. I inked round the edges with the same blending ink.

Christmas Greetings

Hi  Bloggers

Today's offering is a Christmas card made with Sue Wilson's Ornate Pierced Rectangles from her Noble die collection.
I started by using a polka dot mask over some Ruby Red foundation card and spreading  some red glitter frosting paste through the mask and leaving it to dry over night.
I used Sue largest dies from this set and then the fourth one down to create a frame out of coconut white card.
Then I wanted just a thin black matt to go behind this frame, so I  used the largest die again, but just embossed  a piece of black card. Then I used my poky tool to score a line around the outside of this die and then cut it out with scissors. This provided me with the matt that also had the pierced edging all the way around.
I stamped the Heartfelt Creations Christmas Poinsettia stamp onto red card  and embossed this in black and used the coordinating die set to cut them out and create the flowers. I added a black pearl from my stash to the centre of each Poinsettia and added some black organza ribbon behind some of the flowers.
For the sentiment I used a Tattered lace die and I added a white pearl to the 'dot' of the I.
I then matted all this on to an embossed white background using a  Spellbinders folder and then added matts of red and black to frame the card.
I am also entering my offering on the  challenge blogs below:

Daisy Sunday

Good Sunday morning

If you saw my post on Thursday you would have seen I was going to see Michael McIntyre that night. He was great, -  such a funny guy, I never knew his calf muscles were quite that big (you had to be there, lol !!)

Now on to today's card.

This card was stamped with John Lockwood's daisy corner stamp.
This is the only stamp set I own from John but I must say it is gorgeous.

I stamped the main stamp with versamark ink and embossed it with CS silver detail embossing powder.
Next I cut a frame from Spellbinders largest Floral Assortment die which I then mounted on to white card cut from the largest of  Sue Wilson dies from her New York collection, Herald Square and then I cut the purple card from the times Square using the largest die.
This was all matted on to a white card with the  CS silver glue for the pearls. I then used the bluebell pro marker around the edge to give the illusion I have matted the white on to another piece of purple card. I do like this technique as is saves on card stock ... finished dimensions are 6x6.

If you pass by please be kind enough to leave me a comment.
Have a great Sunday. xx

Purple butterflies

Morning fellow crafters

Thank you for popping by .

I am on annual leave today and tomorrow so I  have a nice long weekend. (more time to craft ..lol)

I am going to see Michael Macintyre tonight at the O2. Really looking forward to it, I will let you know my thoughts of the show on Sunday's post.

On to todays card...

I started by cutting two of Sue Wilson's mini striplet die, butterflies in flight in white foundation card. I glued them both together and coloured the butterflies with CE cosmic shimmer glue Frosted Heather by Phil Martin. I do like the swirly effect that was created by using the glue.

Once dry I cut the same die again but out of foundation grey card and glued over the top of the other die cut.

Then I popped this on to a piece of white foundation card with foam pads, which was then matted on to some purple pearl card from my stash then the grey card, and all this went onto a 5x7 white card.

I found some peel offs for my sentiment  in purple and then finished the card with some CS glue dots on the corners in vintage plum and silver lustre.

Hope you like it.

Christmas Tree

Good Morning All

I hope you are all having a good weekend.

I did some retail therapy with my daughter yesterday, it was very nice spending some time with her.

Its a Christmas card for today, with many of the shops having there Christmas gifts out  already and we haven't even had Halloween yet!

Todays card is made from the Tattered Lace Sparkle die.

For the background I did my favourite caught in crystal technique but this time I added glitter to the alcohol inks of blue, teal and green.

I hope you can see the glitter in the photos

This was then matted onto teal and then white card and finished off with craftworks cards candi in each corner and ribbon from my crafty stash.

I do appreciate all you comments and if you only pass through I hope my cards inspire you.
Have a great Sunday xxx

Motorbikes

Morning all

Welcome to the first day of a new month.
I hope you are having a good week so far.
The autumn sunshine has been beautiful so I have been making the most of it by going for a walk at lunchtime, as my job is desk based its nice to get out and stretch the old legs.

I was asked to make two motorbike cards for a work colleague and these are what I created.
I do struggle with men's cards, but I was quite please with these two.

A black and red card. I use That Special Touch wavy mask to add texture and on the black card I embossed it with clear embossing powder.
The rest of the card was made from my crafty stash.

This card was made simply by matting a layering in blue and white with a stamped sentiment going all away around the card.

I hope to blog every Thursday and Sunday.
Thank you for visiting and if you have the time please leave a comment as they are very much appreciated.
