Christmas Greetings

Morning All
I was really pleased with the way this card turned out (even my husband likes it!!)
I started by spreading silver glitter paste from Glitzcraft  through a snowflake mask on to acetate.
I left it overnight to dry and then mounted it on to some Foundation Sky Blue card from CE. I stamped Phil Martins Scribble Snowflake around the corners ( its in his verses set) and embossed with Silver Shine powder. I used SW double pierced square dies to frame it.
On the opposite corners I cut SW bold Snowflake in Coconut white and Sky blue card

The sentiment is from TL which I cut twice and glued one on top of the other then heat embossed with clear ink to give it a lovely shine.

For my Daughter

Hi all
I made this card for my daughters birthday, which was last Friday.

I can't believe she was 27 - where does the time go....
I started with the caught in crystal technique using alcohol inks on to acetate and adding Glamour dust to give it some sparkle. I'm not sure how well this comes through in the pictures.
I created a frame for this using SW oval frames from her festive collection ( the let it snow and the lattice snowflake die)

I mounted this on to some white card stock which I had embossed with a mask and ink through to make it pop a little more.
I then added layers of teal and white card cut from SW double pierced square dies.
The sentiment is computer generated. I then added SW complete Camellia flowers to complete the card.
Thanks for stopping by.
Enjoy your week.

From my craft stash...

Good Morning
This card was created from me playing with my distress inks.
I was using them as a wash on some cardstock - I can't even remember the colours as I was using as it was a while ago, Once it was dry it was relegated to my odds and ends box.
(We all have one of those!!).
Well mine is overflowing so I decided I had to use some bits up. The aperture (also from the box) happened to fall on top of the colour wash card, so all I had to do was decide which stamp to use ..  this one from Kanban.
I completed the card with some ribbon.
A quick and simple card ... now what else is in my box...... lol

Thanks for stopping by..
have a great week.

Playing with Pixie Powders

Hi Everyone

Well another week has flown by I've not had much time for crafting lately, due to work commitments, but yesterday was very productive day.

I made some great batch cards for Christmas.
I had a little play with my pixie powders and did a whole A4 sheet of watercolour card with a mixture of Candy Pink, Purple Violet and Midnight Blue.
The previous week I had been die cutting the SB layered poinsettias and I just couldn't bring myself to throw away the waste. ( you know what us crafters are like ..LOL) I just knew I would do something with it.
I had also bought some ribbon the previous week from The Card Factory.
Hey presto here are some of the cards I made. very CAS but I love them

Thanks for taking the time to stop by.

Gilded Birthday

Hi bloggers

This card was inspired by Julia Watts from one of her Justrite shows.
It made me get my gilding flakes out as I don't use them that often.
I used  the Justrite Filigree Leaves stamp with Indigo Blue gilding flakes I believe they are called Morris Dance, although I do not have the original pot anymore so not 100% sure.
Using a combination of black and gold card from Limetree Crafts die cut with SW double pierced square dies.
The Happy Birthday die was a great find at The Range from Dovecraft.

A perfect card for the start of autumn.
I will definitely be using my gilding flakes more often.

Thanks for stopping by.
